Spingarage LLC Achieves AS9100D Certification

LANCASTER, CA – Wiring harness manufacturer Spingarage LLC is excited to announce achievement of ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D certification of its Quality Management System. Spingarage manufactures wiring harnesses for the aerospace and defense industries, producing a wide variety of harness styles ranging from complex, flightweight branched harnesses to environmentally ruggedized, fully sheathed harnesses for ground vehicle applications.

“These new certifications help us ensure the continued quality of our wiring harnesses as we support our customer’s programs into low-rate initial production and beyond,” said Spingarage CEO Andrew Angellotti.

Utilizing a database-driven approach to manufacturing, extensive proprietary software, and modern processes such as pneumatic strip-and-crimp tooling and laser wire marking, Spingarage increases the efficiency and effectiveness of an otherwise stagnant industry. Often working closely with customers on their first few prototypes, internal processes modeled after the automotive industry enable Spingarage to seamlessly scale as production volumes increase.

Spingarage heavily utilized its proprietary Alpaca software suite in development of its Quality Management System.“Our software helped us provide a streamlined way for our internal auditors to ensure compliance of our internal processes to the requirements of AS9100D and ISO9001:2015, and ensure full audit coverage across the organization,” Angellotti said.

AS9100D is the globally recognized standard for quality management system in the aerospace, defense, and aviation industries. This certification ensures that every process, from cost estimation to delivery, meets stringent requirements for safety, reliability, and performance. Alongside this certification, Spingarage certifies its technicians to IPC/WHMA-A-620E and J-STD-001, guaranteeing precision and reliability in soldering and assembly of electrical and electronic products.
